UPDATE ON FIRST WEEK OF MEDS

Hi everyone,

Yesterday was the first day of Dad's oral medications. He took 10 pills which are a type of steriod. Five in the morning and 5 in the evening. They were tiny little things no horse pills:) Mom said he seemed fine with no ill effects. In fact, when I spoke with her this am they had just come in from working in the yard (some things never change). They received via UPS the next batch of meds which nurse Janet will dispense tomorrow morning. Friday they get results of the bone marrow biopsy and he will have his first intravenous medication and maybe a pint of blood if he goes under and 8 he currently is at an 8.6. I will try to be as accurate as I can with my accounting of what's going on here. Sometimes that may prove to be difficult when you get them both on speaker phone at once...you know what I mean. More tomorrow.
